Every day, we’re honored and inspired by the incredible stories of resilience and determination from those navigating the journey of Long COVID and other post-infection conditions. We are deeply committed to supporting our clients’ journeys and are grateful for the privilege to walk alongside them.

A question we’re often asked is, “How long does it take to start feeling better?” The answer varies, but today we’re excited to share one client’s story—a journey of healing, resilience, and growth through ThriveNinety's whole-body approach.

Finding Hope & Making Progress

This client's story started similarly to many others. Pre-COVID, she led an active lifestyle, from skiing and hiking to spending quality time with family. However, when Long COVID symptoms set in, this vibrant life was put on pause, bringing along with it hospitalizations, extreme fatigue, and pain.

In early 2023, a friend introduced her to ThriveNinety. With the guidance we provide as part of our Long COVID Symptom Management Program, she deepened her understanding of the power of food, nervous system alignment, brain-body connections, and right movement. Simple, yet impactful practices—including gentle exercise, activities that promote nervous system health and nutrition that fights inflammation —helped her regain energy, ability and joy.

Empowering Lifestyle Change

“Katie and Andrea’s insights and support became a lifeline. Before I knew it, I was able to go for short hikes, walk my dogs, and even lost 30 pounds! I can’t believe how much more vibrant I feel.”

Today, she is once again active, happy, and feel empowered to keep exploring new goals. This has included multi-day canoe trips, frequent hikes with her dogs and trekking into the mountains of North Carolina on a mule train to rescue pets stranded after hurricane Helene. To see the change she has experienced and the positive impact she is able to have in her community again is humbling.
